HTML Basics

About This Course

HTML is used to build the blueprint of a webpage. It is a core language for building websites. HTML is also used to create user interfaces for mobile and web applications hence, it is a very useful language to learn.

This course will teach the fundamentals of HTML, from creating basic webpage layouts to more advanced ones. By the end of this course, you will be able to create your own webpage. The content is taught with plenty of example codes and divided into small portions for ease of learning.

You do not need any previous knowledge about programming languages in order to do this course. As HTML is used to create the structure for websites it is best to learn CSS and JavaScript after HTML in order to style the website and make it dynamic.If you are interested to learn CSS and JavaScript after HTML you can also check out these courses in the BYLCx page.

Fees and Scholarships

This course has a fee of 2500 taka. However, the first 1000 students who sign up for this course shall receive full scholarship. There is no separate application needed.

Tahera Mohammad Salim Sarker is currently working as an Executive at BYLCx. Her core responsibilities include planning and designing content for BYLCx, managing its YouTube platform, and assisting in pre and post production of video lectures.

Tahera has completed her bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology from University of Greenwich as an overseas student. She completed her IGCSE and A levels from Bangladesh International School (English Section), Jeddah (BISESJ).

She regularly participated in MUN conferences and volunteered for underprivileged children’s education. She loves to travel outside Dhaka and read books in her spare time.
