About This Course

This course will focus on the tools and techniques for creating a strong and engaging resume that appeals to the hiring managers. It demonstrates how a job applicant can present his/her skills and experiences and customize resume for different industries and job postings.

This course will also help you practice portraying yourself in an honest, engaging, and persuasive way that not only compels the employers to have a good impression on you but also lands you that final interview.


Please note that this is NOT a graded course and we do not offer any certificate for this course.



Fees and Scholarships

This course has a fee of 1500 taka. However, the first 1000 students who sign up for this course shall receive full scholarship. There is no separate application needed.

Farah Chowdhury

Farah is working as a Deputy Manager in the Office of Professional Development. Her core responsibilities include developing marketing strategies for career development programs, assisting in developing strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and creating a platform of continuous learning and development for the BYLC graduates.

Farah completed her master’s degree in business economics from Brooklyn College, USA. She has been awarded the Brooklyn College Foundation General Scholarships Fund for outstanding academic achievements in 2014. During her bachelor’s in economics and social sciences at BRAC University, she consistently secured a performance-based scholarship and was awarded the Vice Chancellor’s Medal for obtaining the highest CGPA in the graduating batches of 2010. Prior to working at BYLC, Farah has worked for several organizations both in Bangladesh and USA. In her last role as a Program Manager in an accounting firm in USA, Farah closely worked with all internal and external stakeholders in successfully planning and implementing a project of prevention of aging of accounts receivables. She has also worked for Standard Chartered Bank Bangladesh as an Operations Officer after graduating from BRAC University.

Farah is a firm believer in leadership training and strongly believes that a quality education is vital in bringing about a positive change in the economy. She is committed to delivering a positive behavioral impact through leadership education and a strong sense of commitment towards one’s own nation.
