Tamim Mahmud is currently studying for a Master in Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology at the University of Waterloo. Prior to this, he was an executive of curriculum development at BYLC. His core responsibilities included developing content for an online education platform that aims to democratize leadership education across all of Bangladesh. He also facilitated in BYLC’s signature leadership training program, Building Bridges through Leadership Training.
Prior to joining BYLC, Tamim has worked for in the retail banking team at BRAC Bank. He has also worked at Aamra Holdings Limited, where he helped build the brand identity of their smart devices brand “WE” in online channels.
Tamim has mentored two community development initiatives undertaken by college and university students. These initiatives focused on employment generation and addressing hygiene issues in two of the underprivileged communities in Dhaka City. Tamim has received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from North South University. Currently, he’s studying for a Master in Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology at the University of Waterloo.
