BYLCx, the online learning platform of Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center (BYLC) , registered under the provisions of “ The Foreign Donations (Voluntary Activities) Regulation Act, 2016 ” with registration number 2686 , is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. This Privacy Policy describes how the personal information of its users is collected, used, disclosed, and stored when such users use our platform and services.

  • This may include your name, email address, phone number, age, gender, university name, passing year/expected passing year, major, address, and photo. We only collect this information when any user provides this data to us voluntarily, such as when a user registers for an account, enrolls in a course or contacts us for support.​

  • This may include the device type, operating system, IP address, and access times. We collect this information automatically to help us understand how users interact with our platform and the contents of our platform and to improve our services.

  • This may include information about the courses the users enroll for, the progress a user makes, and the features he/she uses. We collect this information to personalize the users’ learning experiences and to recommend relevant content.

  • We may share the information of the users with the third-party service providers who help us with operating our platform and with delivering our services, such as cloud storage providers, payment processors, and analytics providers. These service providers are only allowed to use the information provided by the users for the purposes we have specified.

  • We may also disclose such information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ourselves, our users, or any other relevant stakeholders.

  • We will retain the personal information of the various users for as long as an individual user’s account is active or as needed to provide a user with services. We will also retain and use such information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

  • We take reasonable measures to protect the information provided by our users from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or through any other electronic storage method is 100% ensured.


  • Children's Privacy :
  • Our platform is not suitable for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian of a child under 13  believes that his/her child has provided us with personal information, then please contact us so that we can delete any such information.


  • Changes To This Privacy Policy :
  • We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify our users of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy and /or the clauses changed on our platform.
