Writing with Clarity and Purpose

Writing with Clarity and Purpose

Groundbreaking ideas often remain unobserved if they are not expressed clearly. A writer’s effort goes in vain when a reader cannot connect to the purpose of writing. So, writing with clarity and purpose is essential to produce sharp, clear, and easy to understand the content.
This short course is designed for those who want to excel in writing! It will equip you with the necessary skills a writer should have- starting from cognitive principles to stylistics. It elaborates on the tactics that make writing enjoyable and effective, and also explains what makes writing dull. It will also introduce some key elements a beginner should keep in mind, for instance, the importance of using strong verbs, active voice, and simple sentences. Each section is demonstrated with relevant explanations and examples.
Like all other courses at BYLCx, this course uses a combination of video lectures, text summary, and a quiz to help learners understand each concept perfectly before proceeding to the next. Whereas appropriate, the course provides template documents so that the learners can put their learnings into practice.
